Andy had been tailing and driving alongside Tristan's Mustang for miles. Seeing the Mustang out on the open road had been a sweet surprise. As soon as Andy had seen it, he had felt a surge of pleasure at the thought of being able to play with Tristan Clarkson the same way a cat toys with a mouse.

For weeks now Andy had known that Tristan was spending far too much time with Jaycee. That wasn't on. She was his. Even with all those times she'd turned him down when he'd asked her to get back with him, she was still his. Nobody else had any right to kiss her or to touch her. If Tristan thought he was above that rule, he was very, very wrong. All Andy had to do was scare Tristan enough to get him out of the picture. Once he'd successfully done that, and Tristan was finally gone for good, Jaycee would come back. She would welcome Andy into her loving arms once again. The thought of being close to her again was something that made him smile inside and out.

He kept close to the Mustang along the long drive. He'd respected the curves of the winding road. Even he wouldn't have done anything too reckless there. He was a superior driver over Tristan, but he wasn't stupid. He too knew the road was going to change from the tight corners to one long straight. That was where he'd challenge the asshole who'd had the nerve to take his girl.
